Effect of Inhalation Anesthetics on Renal Function

Abstract
|
|
|
Forty-five patients scheduled for elective surgical procedure, were divided into cyclopropane, Fluothane, and Methoxy flurane groups.
Renal function was assessed by preoperative and postoperative measurements of Serum urea, creatinin, sodium and urinary volume.
Temporary decrease of urinary volume was observed during operation, but no clinical or laboratory evidence of renal dysfunction was observed.
